Our eyes are exposed to blue light sources almost all the time. The brain links blue light as daytime, so when exposed to this kind of radiation at night, it makes it difficult to sleep.

This lens from Majestic, helps to filter blue light and reducing the occurrence of eye strain. For someone who spends a lot of time on screens at night, a blue light filtering lense is a MUST. Check with your ECP.

Majestic Blue Light Cut filters up to 420nm of the visible spectrum without altering the perception of color. For this reason, we assure this is also one of the best lens options when it comes to prevent the damaging effects of UV rays also.

Short term effects are fatigue, visual stress, blurred vision, insomnia, and dry eye, among others. Blue light reaches the retina and damages light sensitive cells.

How does Blue Light Cut work?

Majestic Blue Light Cut lenses are composed of a monomer that blocks Blue light (HEV) and UV light. Since the particles that block these damaging rays are contained within the mass of the monomer, the lens never loses these beneficial filtering properties. This is also an advantage compared to other lenses such as those which use a superficial coating treatment, since they could suffer from scratching of peeling of the coating.
